Temperatures are expected to reach 30C+ by this August bank holiday weekend, Marking the start of a possible three week Heatwave, according to forecasters as the UK weather is set to take a turn for the better.
A 900 mile wide ”Tropical heat surge” will rescue British summer in time for the bank holiday weekend when temperatures may nudge past 30C.
The Met Office has forecast 22C and sunny spells in the South and East during the early part of the week, with 28-30C+ on the cards by from Saturday through till the bank holiday Monday.
High Pressure is set to bring subtropical air from the Azores, while the North and West will still see showers at times with temperatures around 20C-24C.
The Met Office forecasts up-to three weeks of mainly warm and dry conditions for many parts of the country for the last week of August and the first half of September. Which could mean the best spell of weather the UK has experienced all summer.
