Having seen 3 cases being confirmed tourists are worrying Disneyland Paris could shut down.
Precedent comes from Disney parks further a field. Tokyo Disneyland was previously shut down over virus fears in Japan, while the park in Shanghai was closed as long ago as January 25th but is now set to partially re-open.
As the situation worsens across Europe a shutdown around Easter would impact thousands of tourists expected to visit the parks.
Currently the park remains open however Park authorities have said they will try to keep tourists a safe distance apart when they queue up for rides.
They also shut the Princess Pavillion on Tuesday to limit the amount of direct contact with guests and concerts at Billy Bob’s venue in the Disney village have been temporarily suspended.
Going forward the park will ensure more hand santiser and water points are placed around the 22km park, single rider queues have been scrapped to limit riders’ contact with new people and cutlery has been replaced with disposable options.
