The Scottish ski resorts in the West have been hit with over a metre of snow over the last couple of weeks and at varying times other parts of Scotland has seen some of the white stuff aswell.
The rest of us have been faced with two very Wet rather than White storms, However things look like they are about to change.
Next week the model predictions are beginning to show the rest of the UK being at risk with snow showers piling in right across the country.
Some areas in parts of the North West, Northern Ireland and parts of the Midlands are likely to see some of these showers merge into longer periods of snowfall on Tuesday with as much as 20cms being possible over high ground in areas such as the Lake District.
Lower down temporary coverings during heavier spells are also possible with 2-5cms being likely as bitterly cold air spills out of the Arctic and covers the entire UK.
