The Met Office has issued weather warnings across the UK as Britain braces for an Atlantic Blast to hit large parts of the county this weekend.
A Yellow warning has been issued for parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland as a large band of rain is set to sweep in form the Atlantic.
The Massive area of rain will also hit England and Wales as the recent Heatwave comes to shuddering halt.
Accumulations of 30 – 50 mm are expected widely with isolated accumulations of 100 mm possible over higher ground which could lead to flooding in some areas.
The weather hitting Scotland and Northern Ireland will sweep across the west of England as well as Wales on Saturday, with strong winds expected to hit the coastlines.
Temperatures are also expected too plummet with most parts struggling to get much above 12 – 17°c. Overnight temperatures will also dive to single digits across England and Wales with areas of Scotland getting as low as 1-3°c.
