Snow to hit Britain by the end of October!

After a less than pleasant October so far and for the next 7-10 days weather models are hinting at the first taste of winter right across the UK.

The signs are pointing towards high pressure becoming established across Greenland and in the mid Atlantic with low pressure to the East of the UK driving a bitterly cold Arctic wind South.

Along with bitter overnight temperatures a risk of snow is also shown with areas of Scotland, Northern England and Northern Ireland most likely to be hit.

The current model outputs suggest high pressure will then stick around for some time either over the UK bringing bitterly cold overnight temperatures or just to the West which would increase the risk of further snowfalls.
