The UK’s car industry is set for a major boost, with hundreds of jobs to be created to build a new 4×4 called Grenadier.
Around 200 jobs will be created initially by Ineos Automotive at the site in Bridgend, South Wales, but that is expected to increase to 500 when the vehicle is in full production.
Groundwork has already started on the £600m project and the production will begin in 2021.
