Boris Johnson to address the Nation Tonight!

Boris Johnson will hold a press conference tonight as the number of Omicron cases continue to rise.

The Prime Minister is expected to hold the briefing at 5pm on Wednesday to give an update on the situation with the Omicron, Downing Street has confirmed.

Mr Johnson will be alongside chief medical officer Professor Chris Whitty and NHS director Dr Nikki Kanani.

He will also update the country on the progress of the booster jab programme.
