Temperatures are set to rise as we go into June, reaching the low twenties in large parts of the country.
The warm spell is likely to last at least 14 days, starting from Thursday 27th May going on into mid June thanks to high pressure establishing itself across the UK.
Brits could experience temperatures as high as 24C during the first few days of June in London and across other parts in the South of England.
The rise in temperatures will be welcomed by Brits up and down the country after a thoroughly miserable cold and wet May.
Northern parts of the country such as Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Leeds and Hull will see temperatures reach 18C – 22C throughout June. Unfortunately not all of the UK will bask in the sunshine as Scotland will tend to struggle in the mid teens with the odd shower.
