Cold weather will bring snow, sleet and hail to Britain on Thursday/Friday!
Up-to 10cms of Snow is expected to settle over higher ground in the north of the UK.
Temperatures have already started to drop and the mercury is expected to drop further in the coming days as freezing air moves south.
The Met Office have issued a yellow warning for snow and ice across large areas of Scotland and northern England.
Temperatures will remain in single digits this week, while overnight temperatures will drop below zero in Scotland, and 2c or 3C across the rest of the country.
Frequent heavy showers of snow and hail are expected to bring 3-5 cms to low levels across England and Wales on Friday but showers will be hit and miss so not everywhere will see snow.
