Brits warned Storm Barra to batter UK with Heavy Snow and Gale force winds!

The second major storm of winter has been named Storm Barra and it’s expected to hit the UK on Tuesday.

The Met Office has issued several yellow weather warnings for Strong winds and Heavy Snow for Northern Ireland, England, Wales and Scotland.

Storm Barra is forecast to bring snow and winds in excess of 70mph on Tuesday, with the possibility of costal areas seeing wind gusts over 100mph.

Gale force winds could cause power cuts and disruption to travel in some areas.

Snow could accumulate up to 20CMs in some parts of Northern England and Scotland throughout Tuesday.

However most of the snow will fall above 100-300 Metres but low levels could get 5-10cms in some northern areas.
