Controversial family nude swim returns to Waterworld this weekend

A controversial nude family swim is returning to one of Stoke-on-Trent’s most popular attractions this weekend.
The skinny dipping session at Festival Park’s Waterworld is open to adults and kids of all ages.
Organiser British Naturism has moved to reassure its members that the naked swim – described as the ‘biggest waterpark event of the year’ – is set to go ahead as planned on Saturday despite the pandemic.
Those attending will be able to ditch their costumes and trunks to ride some of the best slides in nothing but their birthday suit.
Previously the event – which usually attracts around 300 people – has courted criticism from StokeonTrentLive readers concerned perverts could prey on youngsters.
One session held last year saw around 20 protesters gather outside the entrance to Waterworld with the police in attendance
