Coronavirus cases in UK reach 798 – up 208 in just 24 hours!

The number of coronavirus cases in the UK has reached 798 – an increase of 208 in just 24 hours.

The Department of Health said: A total of 32,771 people have been tested for COVID-19, with 31,973 found not to have the disease.

Ten patients who have tested positive for coronavirus in the UK have died.

Yesterday the Prime Minister called coronavirus ‘the worst public health crisis for a generation’ as the country’s leading health and science experts warned we must all do our bit to help ease pressure on the NHS in the weeks and months to come.
