Emily Thornberry revealed Labour’s Brexit policy on BBC Question Time last night after it returned from the summer break.
Emily Thornberry who is the Labour Party’s Foreign Secretary has said ” If Labour win a General Election. Labour will negotiate a new Brexit deal and then campaign against it in a second referendum.
The Audience erupted with laughter as Emily explained Labour’s bizarre and ridiculous Brexit policy.
Richard Tice who is the Chairman of Brexit Party responded by saying ” Have you any idea how the European Union will treat us, if we negotiate in that way. Can you give us a nice deal please? And then we are going to vote against it. Absolutely ridiculous!”
Iain Dale who is a LBC radio Presenter responded by saying ”Do you have any idea how ridiculous that sounds. Do you think people are going to vote for you on that basis. Have you no shame.
Emily Thornberry responded to criticism by saying ”the EU have it in their interst to give us a good deal”. But confirmed even if Labour managed to get a deal. She would not vote for it in parliament as the party now backs remain and would force on a campaign for a second referendum.
