The temperatures have been climbing nicely today and by Wednesday are expected to reach 29c! As often is the case in Britain the inevitable ‘few hot days then a thunderstorm’ saying looks set to come true.
Thursday will see temperatures rise once again however from midday Thunderstorms will break out quite widely with anywhere South or East of Manchester in the high risk area.
The focus area for particularly strong storms consisting of frequent lightning, large hail and flash flooding is around the London area up towards Norwich.
After this we see a temporary dip in temperatures as the winds turn Westerly but this may only be for 48 hours until the heat builds once again.
