Fuel shortages worsen as environmental protests continue

Petrol stations all over the country are struggling to provide customers with fuel, as protests held by environmental activists continue to block oil terminals across the UK with panic buying adding to the problems.
At 4am on Friday (April 1), hundreds of protesters from the environmental group ‘Just Stop Oil’, formed blockades at 10 oil terminals across the country and have continued their disruption each day since with the group posting footage this morning on Twitter at the countries largest oil depot.
From inside the massive Navigator terminal, where supporters of just stop oil have scaled pipes inside fuel loading bays, to continue disrupting fossil fuel supply. This action is a demand to our to government to get a grip.

The group have demanded that the government puts a stop to all new licenses for fossil fuel projects in the UK. If they do not, the protestors vow to continue to disrupt the country’s oil infrastructure.
Petrol stations around the country who source their fuel from these major terminals have been hit by the protests with many running dry with diesel facing a particular shortage.
