Heavy Snow has started falling across the UK Tonight!

Heavy Snow has started falling across parts of the country tonight.

Snow has already started falling in Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington, Stafford, Cheshire and Lancashire.

Temperatures have begun to drop as a cold front moves across the UK, which has turned rain rapidly to snow as it hit the cold air.

The Met office has issued a Snow and Ice warning for Northern England and Wales tonight and into the early hours of Thursday morning.

Snow depths will range from 2-5cms on lower levels and unto 10cms on hills.
