Costa coffee got back to business yesterday by reopening some of its drive through lanes for thirsty coffee lovers. Unfortunately the chains popularity has led to long lines of cars waiting as customers look to get their hands on one.
Despite social distancing measures still in place the potential extra strain on emergency services should people be taking the journey purely to grab a coffee raises the question about whether it has been to soon to reopen.
Arguments erupted on social media between those who feel its to soon to whilst we are still under lock down measures with others who feel it allows emergency/key workers the chance to get a nice hot drink on the way to and from work or on a break.
What do you think? Should these chains be allowed to resume services? Let us know in the comments.
