Jeremy Corbyn called a ‘Terrorist Sympathiser’ by Church Minister of Scotland

Jeremy Corbyn was ambushed by a church minister who branded him a “terrorist sympathiser” as he kicked off a two-day trek around Scotland.

The Labour leader looked stunned as he was heckled by Reverend Richard Cameron outside a community centre in Glasgow.

The Church of Scotland minister, from Scotstoun Parish Church, shouted back he was “surprised” Mr Corbyn was not wearing a “jihad scarf”.

The minister then said: “Do you think the man that’s going to be prime minister of this country should be a terrorist sympathiser?

“Who’s going to be the first terrorist to be invited to the House of Commons when you’re prime minister ?”

Mr Corbyn did not respond and was ushered away by aides, prompting the minister to shout: “Aye you’re running away.”
