Katie Price is facing up to five years in prison after being charged over a foul-mouthed text sent to her ex’s new partner.

The former model has been accused of breaching a restraining order and is due to appear in court next month.

The harassment charge, which relates to a message allegedly sent to Kieran Hayler’s fiancée Michelle Penticost, carries a maximum prison term of five years.

But she could have another 16 weeks added as the offence was said to have happened just a month after she was given a suspended jail sentence for drink driving.
