The former model was arrested on Friday at 5:30pm but was released at 3pm today after being questioned at Worthing police station.
It is understood she allegedly sent an abusive text to ex Kieran and his fiancee Michelle Penticost – breaching a court-imposed ban.
Breaching a restraining order carries a maximum prison sentence of five years. She is already on a 16 week suspended sentence for drink driving – meaning she could be recalled to prison.
Sussex Police said: “At 5.45pm on Friday (21 January) police responded to a report that a suspect had breached their restraining order.
“Officers arrested a woman in her 40s who remains in custody while enquiries are ongoing.”
Katie was given a five-year restraining order in 2019. She was forbidden from contacting Michelle “directly or indirectly”.
