Massive Meteor Shower to fill the sky with hundreds of shooting stars Tonight!

One of the ‘best meteor showers of the year’ will peak this weekend, with up to 100 shooting stars per hour expected across UK skies.

The Draconids meteor shower will peak between October 8-9, allowing stargazers to witness around 100 meteors entering the atmosphere every single hour.

The best time to watch it will be between 11pm to 5am, meteors will be more visible under dark, clear skies. So try to get away from street lights.

You won’t need a telescope or any special equipment to see them. Give your eyes 15 minutes to adapt to the darkness and then look North West.
