No Deal bonus as Brits will get Duty Free back on trips to Europe!

Sajid Javid has announced plans for Brits to get Duty Free back under a ‘No Deal’ Brexit.

The move is expected to cost the government in the region of £150-200 Million per year.

The good news for those of us snapping up some bargains would see items such as a 75cl bottle of Campo Viejo down from a current price of £8.29 to just £4.41 whilst a £45 pack of 200 cigarettes would only cost £36!

Duty free sales were axed by Brussels two decades ago hence the two differing duty free prices when travelling throughout Europe, However Sajid Javid will go back to the way things were. The change is also expected to boost tourism with Europeans snapping up bargains travelling in and out of the UK.
