Northern lights to be seen across UK as solar storm hits Earth Tonight!

The Northern lights could be visible across the UK tonight as a powerful solar storm hits the earths atmosphere.

Solar storms can impact satellites and disrupt global communications, as well as enhance the Aurora borealis.

The Met Office said: ‘’The solar storm is expected to hit earth this evening and will be seen across Scotland and Northern England.’’

‘’On April 11th and April 12th, minor to moderate geomagnetic activity is likely, resulting in enhanced Aurora activity.’’
