Boris Johnson was last night accused of personally breaking restrictions by hosting a Christmas quiz in 10 Downing Street last year.
The Prime Minister was pictured on screen, sitting underneath a portrait of Margaret Thatcher as he read out questions.
A source said many staff huddled by computers, conferring on questions and knocking back wine and beer. ‘’There were four teams, each made up of six people.’’
London was then under regulations at the time banning any social mixing between households.
Downing Street’s claimed last week that no parties had taken place in No10.
Mr Johnson said last week: “I can tell you guidelines were followed at all times. I’ve satisfied myself that the guidelines were followed at all times.”
