Piers Morgan is facing yet more pressure over his job at Good Morning Britain after a petition to sack him riches over 50,000 signatures.
This comes after thousands of complaints were filed to Ofcom over numerous combative interviews he has had with politicians.
The petition brands Piers, 55, “one of our country’s most heinous public figures”.
They write: “Wake up to the reality of Morgan’s behaviour.
“It should be obvious by now that this has far surpassed an acceptable threshold, with Morgan’s rhetoric and actions sitting firmly in dangerous territory.”
Last month, Piers was cleared by Ofcom after almost 4,000 complaints were made over his interviews with a number of MPs.
