Two police officers who took disgusting photos of two murdered sisters have been jailed.
The officers took photos of the bodies while guarding the crime scene overnight after the two sisters were found dead in Fryent Country Park, Wembley in June last year.
PC Deniz Jaffer and PC Jamie Lewis had admitted sharing images of the bodies of Bibaa Henry and Nicole Smallman and were found guilty of gross misconduct.
Judge Mark Lucraft sentenced the pair on Monday to two years and nine months each at the Old Bailey for misconduct in a public office.
The victims’ mother Mina Smallman said she was “pleased” by the sentence but added: “It is not a day for celebration.”
