Public split 52-48 over who won BBC Leaders Debate

The snap poll asked viewers of the programme to leave aside their own party preference and vote on who won the debate.

Boris Johnson was seen as the winner, with 52% of the public saying he outperformed Jeremy Corbyn, who received 48% of the public’s support. which saw the public opinion split at exactly the same ratio as the 2016 referendum.

The Prime Minster went head to head against the Labour Leader for the final time before polling day next Thursday and most voters thought Boris Johnson won the debate.

YouGov asked 1,322 people who watched the debate.
