Queen ‘hurt’ that Megan has turned Harry against his family

Harry and Meghan did not consult the Queen or Prince Charles before making their shock statement about ‘stepping back’ from royal life, it has emerged according to the BBC.
Senior members of the Royal Family are said to be disappointed and ‘hurt’ at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision to quit their current roles and gain financial independence.
The pair said they will now split their time between the UK and North America ‘while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen’.
The mood at Buckingham Palace was said to be ‘one of disappointment’ while the BBC has reported senior royals as being ‘hurt’ by the announcement.
It is understood Harry and Meghan had just begun talks with the Queen and Charles about their future roles when they made their decision to go public, posting their shock statement on Instagram.
Buckingham Palace responded to the news with its own statement saying: ‘Discussions with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are at an early stage.
‘We understand their desire to take a different approach, but these are complicated issues that will take time to work through.’
It’s understood the Queen was only recently informed of Harry and Meghan’s future plans and were not aware the statement was due to be issued.
The royal fans have said they’re devastated that Harry and Megan didn’t tell the Queen and believe it was Megan’s idea to step back from royal life.
Some royal fans took to twitter saying they knew it was only a matter of time before control freak Megan turned Harry against his family.
