A super blue moon is a combination of two lunar events: a supermoon and a blue moon. It hasn’t happened since 2009 and won’t happen again until 2037.

The rare and amazing phenomenon will make the moon appear bigger and brighter – and the planet Saturn will also be visible, making it an extremely rare and possibly a “once in a lifetime” event.

Its name has nothing to do with its colour and the Moon should just look its normal grey colour.

The best time to see the Super Moon will be after 9PM until 3AM, it will be visible everywhere with clear skies.
