The Royal Mail has launched an investigation after footage shared online appeared to show a bunch of posties accidentally tucking into some hash brownies at work.
Postman Pot! Royal Mail launch probe into video showing delirious looking Clapham posties staggering in street after 'accidentally eating HASH BROWNIES' they were unable to deliver to address pic.twitter.com/FR4wDP2RiG— Russian Market (@russian_market) February 3, 2022
Clips posted on Instagram claimed the brownies were sent out to an empty property and had no return address, so after a month they were opened up and given to staff, who were completely unaware they contained cannabis.
An Instagram account, which has since been deleted, shared the video in which one postman could be seen looking fairly disorientated as he attempted to walk down a south London street, eventually being helped by a colleague.
A caption on the video, overlaid on an image of the parcel marked ‘Edibles by Pablo Chocobar’, read: “Today almost all the posties in Clapham accidentally ate hash brownies and I had to pick them up one by one ‘cause they were so high.”
