Shamima Begum has said her ‘whole world fell apart’ when she was stripped of her British citizenship last year.
The former London schoolgirl, now 20, is currently living in a Syrian camp close to the Iraqi border, after her requests to return to the UK were rejected.
She now lives in a tent with US-Canadian citizen Kimberly Polman. They also have heating, electricity and satellite TV.
Speaking as part of an ABC News report, Begum said: ‘When my citizenship got rejected, I felt like my whole world fell apart right in front of me.
