Britain will face travel chaos on Monday morning as ‘Significant Snow’ is forecast to hit parts of Northern England and Scotland.
The latest weather forecast has issued a Snow and Ice warning for drivers on Monday, a ‘significant band of snow and rain’ will spark travel chaos.
BBC weather forecaster Matt Taylor said that a huge temperature drop on Sunday night will unleash “disruptive snow” particularly in Scotland and northern England.
Rain will start falling at first before Turning to snow during the early hours of Monday morning.
Several centimetres of snow could fall in northern areas between 4am – 9am.
blizzard conditions are also expected in some areas as strong winds of 40-50mph and snow mix causing dangerous driving conditions.
