A band of heavy showers called a ‘squall line’ is currently moving south across England. These showers are expected to produce hail, squally winds and even the possibility of an isolated tornado.

Met Office forecaster Marco Petagna shared a warning from the ‘Tornado and Storm Research Organisation’ on Twitter, telling people: “Although a very low risk, a tornado or two is possible associated with today’s squally cold front.”
