Two people rushed to hospital after being crushed by tree during Storm Barra

Two people have been rushed to hospital after a tree falls on top of them during strong winds caused by Storm Barra.
North West Ambulance Service were called to Fitz Park in Cumbria after reports a tree had fallen on two people this afternoon as Storm Barra hit the UK with 70-90mph winds.
A man and women have been taken to hospital following the incident.
An NWAS spokesman said: “We were called to Fitz Park, Keswick following a 999 call at 10.33 reporting a tree had fallen on two people.
“Two ambulances, two paramedics and two emergency doctors attended the scene.
