UK temperatures to plunge 30c in 36 hours!

A strong Northerly wind is set to bring bitingly cold air to UK’s shores overnight and throughout Sunday as temperatures will dive from a high of 25c in London today down to -5c in the early hours on Monday morning.

Sunday will see cold air sweep South with areas in Southern England reaching 14/15c at midday only to come tumbling down to 7/8c by later in the afternoon made feel even colder by the brisk wind.

The cold air is then forecast to stick around for a few days with overnight frosts likely to be widespread. After midweek we will start to see a gradual return to near average temperatures as high pressure edges East cutting off the Northerly wind and hopefully and return to something more pleasant.
